We plan to introduce a resolution designating September 27, 2025, as “National Hunting & Fishing Day” in Pennsylvania.
The fourth Saturday of September has been recognized by Congress as “National Hunting and Fishing Day” to acknowledge the numerous contributions of our sportsmen and sportswomen. Hunting and angling are hallmarks of Pennsylvania’s history. Our great Commonwealth has rich traditions of hunting and fishing activities that are still enjoyed today.
“National Hunting and Fishing Day” celebrates our hunters and anglers for their responsible management of wildlife and natural resources for public benefit.
Please join us in cosponsoring this resolution to celebrate the important traditions of hunting and fishing.
