Soon, I will be introducing a resolution designating the week of September 21 through 28, 2025, as “Frontotemporal Degeneration Awareness Week” in Pennsylvania.
Frontotemporal Degeneration, also known as FTD, is a terminal and incurable neurodegenerative disease affecting the frontal and temporal lobes. It is the most common form of dementia for people under 60. Sadly, there is no cure for FTD, and no treatments available to slow or stop the progression of the disease.
This resolution will not only bring awareness to FTD, but it will also educate the public on FTD as well.

Please join me in sponsoring this resolution.
