As of 2025, 29 states have adopted constitutional carry laws, allowing law-abiding citizens to carry firearms without a permit. With over half of the country now allowing constitutional carry, Pennsylvania is falling behind in protecting our right to bear arms. In Pennsylvania, you must still own a license to carry a concealed firearm, even if you pass a background check.

The Constitution of Pennsylvania already states that the right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the Commonwealth shall not be questioned. That is why I plan to introduce a resolution that would amend the Constitution of Pennsylvania to ensure the right to carry a concealed firearm without a permit. Should this resolution pass in two consecutive legislative sessions, the voters of Pennsylvania will decide on the question to enshrine this right into our state constitution.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this important legislation to protect our 2nd Amendment rights and institute constitutional carry in Pennsylvania.
