This bill amends Section 4306(b) of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, which pertains to the enforcement of foreign judgments. The amendment introduces a new provision that prohibits courts of common pleas in Pennsylvania from enforcing or satisfying foreign judgments related to the provision or delivery of reproductive health care services. This includes any matters involving medical, surgical, counseling, or referral services concerning the human reproductive system, such as pregnancy, contraception, or abortion services.

Additionally, the bill clarifies that a copy of any foreign judgment, authenticated according to federal law or state law, can still be filed in the office of the clerk of any court of common pleas, where it will be treated similarly to local judgments. The amendment aims to ensure that while foreign judgments can generally be enforced, those specifically related to reproductive health care services will not be subject to enforcement in Pennsylvania courts. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage.
