This bill amends the Public School Code of 1949 to establish the Cosmetology Training Through Career and Technical Center Program as a permanent initiative, transitioning from its previous status as a pilot program. The amendments include the removal of the term "Pilot" from the program's title and the deletion of the expiration date for the program, which was previously set to end three years from the effective date of the section. Additionally, the requirement for participating Career and Technical Centers (CTCs) and secondary schools to report information to the State Board of Cosmetology has been modified to require annual reporting starting June 1 each year.

The bill ensures that all activities, orders, regulations, and agreements made under the pilot program will continue to be in effect following the transition to a regular program. This means that contracts and collective bargaining agreements established during the pilot phase will remain valid and unaffected by the change in status. The act is set to take effect immediately upon passage.
