In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing the week of April 7 through April 13, 2025, as National Public Health Week in Pennsylvania.

In the wake of ongoing health challenges and the importance of proactive measures to safeguard public health, it is imperative that we recognize and celebrate the contributions of public health professionals and the critical role they play in our communities.

With over 12.9 million people living in our Commonwealth, Pennsylvania is home to numerous public health organizations, professionals, and advocates who tirelessly work to improve the health and well-being of our residents. By officially recognizing National Public Health Week, we have an opportunity to express gratitude for their dedication and amplify the importance of public health initiatives across our Commonwealth.

Please join me in honoring the efforts of public health professionals and reaffirming our commitment to promoting the health and wellness of all Pennsylvanians.
