Osteopathic physicians (DOs) practice in every medical field and specialty, combining medical expertise with a whole-person approach centered on listening to and partnering with their patients. Pennsylvania is ranked third in the country in the number of practicing DOs, with over 10,000 in number and 62% under the age of 45. Pennsylvania is also privileged to host three great colleges of osteopathic medicine that educate and train future physicians, creating access to medical care throughout the Commonwealth.
To honor the service of our osteopathic physicians, I plan to introduce a resolution to proclaim April 14-20, 2025 to be National Osteopathic Medicine Week in Pennsylvania. My resolution aims to celebrate DOs for their contributions to improving the health of their communities throughout the Commonwealth.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this resolution to recognize these physicians who every day promote the health and well-being of the citizens of Pennsylvania.
