Black Doula Day in Pennsylvania, observed annually on April 11 celebrates the vital contributions of Black doulas and highlights efforts to address maternal health disparities within Black communities. The day coincides with Black Maternal Health Week, advocating for better maternal health outcomes for Black individuals.
Black Doula Day promotes the integration of ancestral knowledge into modern maternal care, advocating for systemic improvements in healthcare, and continuing efforts to support Black families and improve birth outcomes.
