Since its inception in April 2004, "Financial Literacy Month" has been recognized across the United States as a crucial initiative to promote financial well-being. A strong financial foundation begins with education on budgeting, saving, and responsible money management. While progress has been made in advancing financial literacy, further efforts are needed to ensure that individuals of all ages have access to the tools and resources necessary for financial stability.

By designating April 2025 as "Financial Literacy Month" in Pennsylvania, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting financial education and encourage schools, community organizations, and policymakers to continue supporting initiatives that enhance financial literacy.
