This bill amends the Liquor Code of Pennsylvania, specifically Section 510, to enhance labeling requirements for containers of alcohol and liquor. It mandates that all manufacturers, producers, and transporters of alcohol must securely attach a label to every container that includes the name of the manufacturer, the kind and quantity of alcohol, the date of manufacture, and the license number authorizing its manufacture. Additionally, a new requirement is introduced for a conspicuous label stating: "WARNING: There is a direct link between alcohol and fatal cancers."

The bill also specifies that individuals possessing alcohol or liquor in wholesale quantities must maintain these labels on their containers. The changes aim to improve consumer awareness regarding the health risks associated with alcohol consumption. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage.
