Emergency Medical Services are on the front lines of crisis response, delivering lifesaving care around the clock.  Doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, police, 911 dispatchers, and other first responders serve their communities by helping neighbors in need during crimes, fires, and devastating accidents.

Volunteer and career EMS teams complete countless hours of specialized training and continuing education to stay prepared.  And they often risk their own safety to respond to emergencies.

To honor these courageous professionals, we will soon introduce a resolution designating May 18 to May 24, 2025, as “Emergency Medical Services Week” in Pennsylvania. Please join us in recognizing the strength, dedication, and sacrifice of our EMS workers by co-sponsoring this resolution.
