A constituent recently contacted my office regarding a parking issue they encountered. The individual, a 100% disabled veteran and permanent wheelchair user, has a severely disabled veteran license plate affixed to the rear of their vehicle. Unfortunately, the issue arises when the plate is not visible from the front of the vehicle, leading to parking challenges.

To address this concern, I will be introducing legislation to provide individuals with a severely disabled veteran plate the option to request an additional plate for the front of their vehicle.
