Severely disabled veterans put their lives on the line for us and face significant obstacles after returning home from their service, including financial burdens. In our state a severely disabled veteran qualifies for free yearly registration on one vehicle but still must pay for registration fees for their other vehicles. These individuals have sacrificed so much, and they deserve to be alleviated of financial burdens like registration fees for their vehicles.

That is why I plan to introduce legislation to exempt severely disabled veterans from titling and registration fees for all their vehicles, instead of just one vehicle. We can and must do more for our veterans. This action is just one small way we can make their lives easier.

As elected officials, we have an obligation to ensure military veterans in our state receive the support they need. I ask that you join me in co-sponsoring this legislation and help severely disabled veterans throughout Pennsylvania.
