In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation that increases the maximum reimbursement allowance for tax paid on undyed diesel fuel used in truck refrigeration units.

Currently under the reimbursement program for tax paid on undyed diesel fuel, a person shall be reimbursed on any purchase which is not more than 75 gallons per purchase and is delivered into an internal combustion engine that is used exclusively for truck refrigeration.

My legislation would increase the reimbursement maximum from 75 to 100 gallons per purchase to give full access to this reimbursement for those who have refrigeration fuel tanks with a capacity of more than 75 gallons. This legislation will ease the burden on truckers who haul refrigerated goods across the Commonwealth.

Please consider cosponsoring this important legislation to provide economic relief for truck drivers.
