I will soon be re-introducing legislation to strengthen Pennsylvania’s requirements for voting machine manufacturers to resolve any defects or failures occurring in their machines, as well as creating a liability for these companies for failure to timely resolve any such defect.

As Pennsylvanians continue to suffer from election administration failures, improving the ability of our counties and Department of State to hold voting machine companies responsible for any failures owing to their machines will provide an important new tool for increased accountability and reliability.
