I will be reintroducing Senate Bill 680 of the 2023-2024 legislative session, to waive the License to Carry Firearm application fee for active military and honorably discharged veterans.  This legislation was previously cosponsored by Senators Dush, Mastriano, Pennycuick, Rothman, Hutchinson, Stefano and J. Ward.
 
This is one small way we can show our appreciation to our military members for defending our country and freedoms.  Several states, including Ohio, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas, offer waived or discounted licensing fees to eligible veterans.
