Many Pennsylvania families have invested in recreational vehicles (RVs) and campers having fond memories of past summer vacations taking to the road in these vehicles.  But what happens when you purchase these vehicles only to find it is faulty no matter what is done to repair it?  Related consumer protections are provided under the Automobile Lemon Law. However, this law does not cover RVs and campers.

My legislation will include RVs and campers in the Automobile Lemon Law.  Manufacturers will be required to replace an RV or camper with repeated problems occurring within one year or 12,000 miles of purchase.

RVs are a significant financial investment, and consumers deserve the comfort of knowing their purchase is protected if something was built or assembled improperly.  This crucial step ensures quality motor homes are crossing the Commonwealth, one vacation at a time.

Consumers deserve protection when investing their hard earned money in these vehicles. I hope you join with me in supporting this legislation.
