I recently learned that each and every undergraduate Pitt student from 2018 and beyond MUST
"complete one course that is designated as a Diversity course"  (see the relevant General Education requirements, found here:

It is my firm belief that these courses ought to be offered as electives and should not be forced upon students, especially where the pedagogy is unbalanced with a mandatory course of counterthought. 
Please join me in advancing legislation that prohibits state funded institutions from requiring the completion of such courses or otherwise negatively impacting those students who choose to avoid compulsory indoctrination.
