AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2 act relating to the public school system, including certain
3 provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4 schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5 laws relating thereto," in career and technical education,
6 further providing for career and technical education
7 equipment grants.
8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
9 hereby enacts as follows:
10 Section 1. Section 1855 of the act of March 10, 1949
11 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, is
12 amended by adding a subsection to read:
13 Section 1855. Career and Technical Education Equipment
14 Grants.--* * *
15 (f.1) The Department of Education shall use data for the
16 calculations under this section based on the most recent years
17 for which data is available, as determined by the Department of
18 Education, and shall fix the data as of the first day of June
19 preceding the school year in which the allocation occurs. If,
20 after the data based on the first day of June is found by the
1 Department of Education to be incorrect, the Department of
2 Education shall revise the calculations accordingly.
