AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2 act relating to the public school system, including certain
3 provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4 schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5 laws relating thereto," in Ready-to-Succeed Scholarship,
6 further providing for agency.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. Section 2204-B(b) of the act of March 10, 1949
10 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949,
11 amended July 8, 2022 (P.L.620, No.55), is amended to read:

14 (b) Eligibility criteria.--The eligibility criteria
15 developed for the receipt of a scholarship under subsection (a)
16 shall, at a minimum, require all of the following:
17 (1) Total annual household income not to exceed
18 [$126,000] $175,000. With each new award year, the agency may
19 annually adjust the total annual household income threshold
1 under this paragraph to reflect any upward changes in the
2 Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) for the
3 Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland area.
4 (2) At least half-time enrollment in an approved course
5 of study.
6 (3) Demonstration of a grade point average of at least
7 [3.25] 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
8 (4) Compliance with all aspects of the State grant
9 program except financial need.

11 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
