AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2 act relating to the public school system, including certain
3 provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4 schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5 laws relating thereto," in Keystone Telepresence Education
6 Grant Program, further providing for Keystone Telepresence
7 Education Grant Program; and, in disability inclusive
8 curriculum, further providing for department
9 responsibilities.
10 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11 hereby enacts as follows:
12 Section 1. Section 1503-J(d) of the act of March 10, 1949
13 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, is
14 amended to read:
15 Section 1503-J. Keystone Telepresence Education Grant Program.

17 (d) Allocation.--To award grants under the program, the
18 department [shall] may use up to $300,000 annually of
19 undistributed funds not expended, encumbered or committed from
20 appropriations for grants and subsidies made to the department
21 to award grants. The funds shall be transferred by the Secretary
1 of the Budget to a restricted account as necessary to award
2 grants and, when transferred, are appropriated to carry out the
3 provisions of this article.

5 Section 2. Section 1704-D(a) of the act, added July 8, 2022
6 (P.L.620, No.55), is amended to read:
7 Section 1704-D. Department responsibilities.
8 (a) Funding.--[The department may use Federal, State and
9 other money to the extent that it is made available for the
10 program.] To award grants under the pilot program, the
11 department may use up to $300,000 annually of undistributed
12 funds not expended, encumbered or committed from appropriations
13 or restricted accounts for grants and subsidies made to the
14 department to award grants. The funds shall be transferred by
15 the Secretary of the Budget to a restricted account as necessary
16 to award grants and, when transferred, are appropriated to carry
17 out the provisions of this article.

19 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
