AN ACT
1 Amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, in natural gas competition, providing
3 for do-not-switch list; and, in restructuring of electric
4 utility industry, providing for do-not-switch list.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Title 66 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes is amended by adding sections to read:
9 § 2213. Do-not-switch list.
10 The commission shall facilitate the implementation of a do-
11 not-switch list for retail gas customers. A retail gas
12 customer's natural gas distribution company shall maintain the
13 do-not-switch list. Upon the request of an account holder for
14 natural gas supply services or a person who has power of
15 attorney for the account holder, the account holder's name may
16 be placed on the do-not-switch list.
17 § 2816. Do-not-switch list.
18 The commission shall facilitate the implementation of a do-
19 not-switch list for retail electric customers. A retail electric
1 customer's electric distribution company shall maintain the do-
2 not-switch list. Upon the request of an account holder for
3 electric generation services or a person who has power of
4 attorney for the account holder, the account holder's name may
5 be placed on the do-not-switch list.
6 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
