AN ACT
1 Amending Title 71 (State Government) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, in merit system employment, further
3 providing for regulations.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2203(b)(1) of Title 71 of the
7 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 2203. Regulations.

10 (b) Temporary regulations.--
11 (1) In order to facilitate the prompt implementation of
12 this part, the Office of Administration may promulgate
13 temporary regulations which shall expire no later than
14 [three] six years following the publication of the temporary
15 regulations. The Office of Administration may promulgate
16 temporary regulations not subject to:
17 (i) Sections 201, 202, 203, 204 and 205 of the act
18 of July 31, 1968 (P.L.769, No.240), referred to as the
19 Commonwealth Documents Law.
1 (ii) Section 204(b) of the act of October 15, 1980
2 (P.L.950, No.164), known as the Commonwealth Attorneys
3 Act.
4 (iii) The act of June 25, 1982 (P.L.633, No.181),
5 known as the Regulatory Review Act.

7 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
