AN ACT
1 Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, in Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, further
3 providing for power to set fees; and, in fishing licenses,
4 further providing for license, permit and issuing agent fees.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Sections 322.1(b) and 2715(a) and (a.1) of Title
8 30 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes are amended to
9 read:
10 § 322.1. Power to set fees.

12 (b) Expiration.--Subsection (a) shall expire July 15, [2025]
13 2035. Upon expiration, final-form regulations promulgated under
14 subsection (a)(2)(vii)(B) shall remain in effect.

16 § 2715. License, permit and issuing agent fees.
17 (a) License fees.--Except as provided under subsection (c),
18 the following fees apply to fishing licenses issued under this
19 chapter and shall be paid into the Fish Fund:
1 (1) Resident Annual Fishing License, [$21] in such
2 amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57 (relating to
3 license, permit and issuing agent fees).
4 (2) Senior Resident Annual Fishing License, [$10] in
5 such amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
6 (3) Senior Resident Lifetime Fishing License, [$50] in
7 such amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
8 (4) Nonresident Annual Fishing License, [$51] in such
9 amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
10 (5) Seven-Day Tourist Fishing License, [$33] in such
11 amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
12 (6) Three-Day Tourist Fishing License, [$25] in such
13 amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
14 (6.1) One-Day Resident Fishing License, [$10] in such
15 amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
16 (6.2) One-Day Tourist Fishing License, [$25] in such
17 amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
18 (7) Replacement Fishing License, including related
19 permits and privileges, [$5] in such amount as prescribed
20 under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
21 (8) Transaction costs associated with the Pennsylvania
22 Automated Licensing Service (PALS), actual costs not to
23 exceed $1.
24 (a.1) Permit fees.--Except as otherwise provided in this
25 title, the following fees apply to permits related to fish and
26 fishing and shall be paid into the Fish Fund:
27 (1) Trout permits, [$8] in such amount as prescribed
28 under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
29 (2) Resident charter boat/fishing guide permit, $100.
30 (3) Nonresident charter boat/fishing guide permit, $400.

1 (4) Special permit to fish in Lake Erie and tributaries,
2 $8 or in such amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57,
3 whichever is greater.
4 (5) Combination trout permit and Lake Erie permit, [$14]
5 in such amount as prescribed under 58 Pa. Code § 63.57.
6 (6) Transaction costs associated with the Pennsylvania
7 Automated Licensing Service (PALS), actual costs not to
8 exceed $1.

10 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
