AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, in registration of vehicles, providing for
3 Operation Inherent Resolve veterans plate.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 1362.1. Operation Inherent Resolve veterans plate.
9 Upon application of any person who is a veteran of the
10 military intervention against the Islamic State of Iraq and the
11 Levant, which encompasses campaigns in Iraq, Syria and Libya,
12 accompanied by a fee of $23 $26 which shall be in addition to <--
13 the registration fee and by documentation as the department
14 shall require, the department shall issue to the person a
15 special registration plate designating the vehicle so licensed
16 as belonging to a person who is a veteran of Operation Inherent
17 Resolve. The special registration plate may be used only on a
18 passenger car or truck with a registered gross weight of not
1 more than 14,000 pounds.
2 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 120 days. <--
