This bill establishes a new definition for "family resource center" in Oklahoma law, which will be codified as Section 52 of Title 25. A family resource center is defined as a community, school, or faith-based hub that offers support services to families. The center is characterized by a multi-generational, strengths-based, and family-centered approach, and it aims to be responsive to the needs and interests of the community. Additionally, it provides support at little or no cost to participants and fosters peer support networks for families, including kinship families, to help reduce isolation and stress.

The bill is set to take effect on November 1, 2026.
