This bill establishes a new legal requirement for campsites located on municipal land in Oklahoma. Specifically, any campsite that has been used by ten or more individuals for more than five days will now be subject to evaluation by the Department of Environmental Quality and the Department of Public Safety. The evaluations will focus on ensuring compliance with basic environmental and sanitation standards.

Additionally, the bill mandates that the Department of Environmental Quality and the Department of Public Safety create rules to implement these new evaluation requirements. The provisions of this act are set to take effect on November 1, 2026.
