This bill directs the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) to apply for federal waivers or state plan amendments by January 1, 2027, to establish a supplemental reimbursement rate for physician practices, community health workers, nonprofits, and other entities involved in the patient-centered medical home program. The reimbursement rate aims to support those actively participating in evidence-based pediatric practice transformation models of care, particularly for children from birth to four years old. The bill also mandates periodic reviews of this supplemental rate in conjunction with future Medicaid rate reviews for physician services.
Additionally, the bill requires enrolled entities to collaborate with data-driven organizations to demonstrate adherence to the specified pediatric practice transformation models. The OHCA is tasked with maintaining an annually updated letter confirming the active participation of these entities in the required models of care. The effective date for this act is set for November 1, 2026.
