The Oklahoma Clean Indoor Air Act establishes regulations regarding smoking in various public and enclosed spaces within the state. The Act defines key terms such as "enclosed area," "public place," "smoking," and "workplace." It prohibits smoking in a wide range of locations, including indoor workplaces, government buildings, restaurants, bars, public transportation, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, retail stores, and sports arenas. However, it allows smoking in designated areas such as tobacco shops, private residences (unless used for childcare or healthcare), designated smoking rooms in hotels, and on tribal lands.

Additionally, the Act mandates that establishments display clear "No smoking" signage at entrances and throughout their facilities. The State Department of Health is tasked with promulgating rules to enforce the provisions of the Act, and local governments are permitted to enact stricter ordinances if desired. The Act is set to take effect on November 1, 2026.
