This bill mandates that public school districts in Oklahoma must post specific information on their websites regarding board of education members, the school district superintendent, and upcoming board elections. The required information includes the name, picture, email address, phone number, mailing address, and a short biography for each board member and the superintendent. The biographies must detail the election date and the expiration date of each member's term. Additionally, the bill requires the posting of the date of the next election for board members, information on how to become a candidate, and a map of each board district within the school district.

The new law will be codified as Section 5-107C of Title 70 in the Oklahoma Statutes and is set to take effect on July 1, 2026. The bill also declares an emergency, allowing it to be enacted immediately upon passage and approval to ensure the timely dissemination of this information for the benefit of public transparency and engagement in school governance.
