This bill establishes the Office of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia Service Coordination within the State Department of Health in Oklahoma. The new office is tasked with providing statewide coordination, developing service systems, and offering information and support for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, as well as their caregivers. The office will evaluate existing dementia services, streamline state government services, identify grant opportunities, and promote public awareness and education regarding dementia-related issues. Additionally, it will maintain at least one full-time dementia services coordinator to oversee operations.

The bill also repeals Sections 1-879.2 and 1-879.3 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes, which previously addressed Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. The effective date for this new legislation is set for November 1, 2026.
