The bill removes outdated language regarding the examination of the feasibility of diabetes self-management training (DSMT) and the requirement for a report on its potential costs and clinical findings.

Additionally, the bill mandates the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board to promulgate rules necessary for the implementation of this section, which will cover provider eligibility, service scope, coverage, and reimbursement. The effective date for this act is set for November 1, 2026.
