He has received numerous accolades, including two Emmy Awards and being named Oklahoma Sportscaster of the Year eight times. His achievements as a three-sport All-State athlete and starting quarterback for the University of Oklahoma further highlight his deep connection to Oklahoma sports.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Blevins has actively engaged in community service, supporting various charitable organizations and serving on the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army in Oklahoma City. The resolution expresses gratitude for his exemplary career and lasting legacy, directing that a copy be distributed to him and his family.
