This bill authorizes the addition of a "Lifetime Hunting and Fishing," "Lifetime Hunting," or "Lifetime Fishing" designation on state driver licenses or identification cards for individuals holding a valid lifetime hunting and fishing license issued by the state of Oklahoma. To obtain this designation, applicants must provide proof of eligibility, which includes presenting the original or digital certificate of their lifetime license. Service Oklahoma will coordinate with the Department of Wildlife Conservation to verify the validity of the license. The designation can be requested at the time of issuance, renewal, or replacement of the driver license or identification card without an additional fee, or at any time for a fee of $25.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that Service Oklahoma must remove the designation if the lifetime hunting and fishing license is revoked or invalidated. It also grants Service Oklahoma the authority to create necessary rules for implementing this section, including updates to driver license design systems. The act is set to become effective on November 1, 2025.
