Additionally, the bill clarifies the renewal process and penalties for late renewal. It maintains the existing structure for license expiration and renewal applications, while also detailing the requirements for individuals whose licenses have been expired for five years or more, including the necessity to register for review hours at a cosmetology or barber school. The effective date for these changes is set for November 1, 2025.
