This bill mandates that facilities administered by the Department of Corrections in Oklahoma must provide specific accommodations for lactating inmates. These accommodations include the provision of equipment for pumping breast milk, storage bags, refrigeration or freezing options for the milk, and safe handling procedures for transferring the milk to a designated individual.

Additionally, the bill requires the Department of Corrections to create rules to effectively implement these provisions. The act is set to take effect on November 1, 2025.
