The Oklahoma National Guard CareerTech Assistance Act establishes a program to provide tuition assistance to eligible members of the Oklahoma National Guard who enroll in technology center schools. The program will offer financial support equivalent to the tuition for career and technology programs leading to certification or licensure, with assistance limited to a maximum of three years and contingent on the availability of funds. Eligible Guard members must meet specific criteria, including maintaining good academic standing and fulfilling service obligations. The act also outlines the application process, eligibility retention requirements, and conditions under which assistance may be denied or repaid.

Additionally, the act creates the Oklahoma National Guard CareerTech Assistance Revolving Fund, which will be used to finance the assistance program. This fund will consist of state appropriations and will be managed by the State Board of Career and Technology Education. The act mandates the promulgation of rules and regulations to ensure proper implementation and coordination between the relevant departments. The provisions of this act will take effect on July 1, 2025, and an emergency clause has been included for immediate enactment upon passage and approval.
