This bill proposes an increase in benefits for individuals receiving payments from the Teachers Retirement System of Oklahoma. Specifically, it stipulates that any beneficiary who is receiving benefits as of June 30, 2025, and continues to receive those benefits after the effective date of the act, will receive a five percent (5%) increase in their benefits.
