10 A Concurrent Resolution recognizing May 10 as
10 Military Spouse Appreciation Day; recognizing and
11 honoring the contributions and sacrifices of military
11 spouses; expressing appreciation for military spouse
12 service.

15 WHEREAS, the State of Oklahoma recognizes the invaluable
15
16 contributions and sacrifices made by military spouses in support of
16
17 our Nation's armed forces; and
17
18 WHEREAS, military spouses demonstrate unwavering strength,
18
19 resilience, and dedication while facing unique challenges associated
19
20 with frequent relocations, deployments, and separations from their
20
21 loved ones; and
21
22 WHEREAS, military spouses serve as the backbone of support for
22
23 our service members, families, and communities, embodying the spirit
23
24 of patriotism and selflessness; and
24
 1 WHEREAS, on this Military Spouse Appreciation Day, we honor and

2 express our deepest gratitude to the military spouses of Oklahoma
2
3 for their steadfast commitment, sacrifices, and unwavering support
3
4 to our Nation's defenders;
4
5 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

6 OF THE 2ND SESSION OF THE 59TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE, THE SENATE

7 CONCURRING THEREIN:

8 THAT the Oklahoma State Legislature recognizes May 10 as
8
9 Military Spouse Appreciation Day in Oklahoma.

10 THAT the Oklahoma State Legislature recognizes and honors the
10
11 extraordinary contributions and sacrifices of our military spouses
11
12 and to express our heartfelt appreciation for their service to the
12
13 State of Oklahoma and the Nation.
