7 An Act relating to education; permitting that public
7 colleges and universities give credit for certain
8 courses; directing public colleges and universities
8 to establish guidelines and policies; providing for
9 codification; and providing an effective date.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

14 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
14
15 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1210.705 of Title 70, unless
15
16 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

17 Students who receive a letter grade of B or higher in an
17
18 advanced placement course and take the advanced placement course
18
19 exam shall receive credit for that course from all public Oklahoma
19
20 colleges and universities that accept concurrent enrollment credits
20
21 for that course. Colleges and universities that accept advanced
21
22 placement course credits shall establish guidelines and policies and
22
23 make them publicly available.

 1 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
