6 An Act relating to disabled persons; directing
7 certain facilities to post certain information;
7 providing for codification; and providing an
8 effective date.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

12 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
12
13 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 391 of Title 10, unless there is
13
14 created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

15 Inpatient and residential-based facilities providing services to any
15
16 child with a disability, as defined in Section 1-1-105 of Title 10A
16
17 of the Oklahoma Statutes, shall post, in a public area, contact
17
18 information for Oklahoma's designated Protection and Advocacy System
18
19 and a statement that the System may be contacted to confidentially
19
20 report incidents of, or suspected incidents of, abuse or neglect.

21 SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
21
22 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 10-104.1 of Title 43A, unless
22
23 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

7 SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
