7 An Act relating to the state capitol and capitol
7 buildings; amending 73 O.S. 2021, Section 207, which
8 relates to the Oliver Hodge Memorial Education
8 Building; directing the Office of Management
9 Enterprise Services to coordinate with certain
9 nonprofit organization; requiring display of certain
10 portraits and plaques; clarifying costs to be
10 expended by nonprofit organization; and providing an
11 effective date.

14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

15 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 73 O.S. 2021, Section 207, is
15
16 amended to read as follows:

17 Section 207. A. The office building to be constructed for all
17
18 functions of education by the Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority
18
19 under the provisions of 73 O.S. 1971, Section 168, is hereby named
19
20 and shall be identified as the Oliver Hodge Memorial Education
20
21 Building.

22 B. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services, in
22
23 coordination with a nonprofit organization established to recognize
23
24 and honor professionals inducted in the Oklahoma Educators Hall of

 1 Fame, shall prominently display portraits and plaques of Oklahoma
1
2 Educators Hall of Fame inductees inside the Oliver Hodge Memorial
2
3 Education Building in a location which is readily accessible to the
3
4 general public. All costs for portraits and plaques and their
4
5 installation and preservation shall be expended by the nonprofit
5
6 organization which recognizes and honors members of the Oklahoma
6
7 Educators Hall of Fame.

8 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
