7 An Act relating to vaccination exemptions; amending
7 10 O.S. 2021, Section 413, which relates to Oklahoma
8 Child Care Facilities Licensing Act; immunization
8 exemptions; expanding exemptions; and providing an
9 effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 10 O.S. 2021, Section 413, is
13
14 amended to read as follows:
14
15 Section 413. Any minor child, through his or her parent or
15
16 guardian, may submit to the health authority charged with the
16
17 enforcement of the immunization laws, a certificate written
17
18 statement of a licensed physician stating that the physical
18
19 condition of the child is such that immunization would endanger the
19
20 life or health of the child or a member of the child's family or
20
21 household; or upon receipt of a written statement by the parent or
21
22 guardian objecting to such immunizations because of religious or
22
23 other reasons for reasons of conscience, including a religious
23

1 belief, then such child shall be exempt from the provisions of this

2 act.

3 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
