7 An Act relating to crimes and punishments; deeming
7 certain persons convicted of certain crimes as having
8 committed acts of terrorism; making property subject
8 to asset forfeiture; providing for codification; and
9 providing an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
13
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1268.9 of Title 21, unless there
14
15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

16 Any person who:
16
17 1. Is of Hispanic descent living within the state of Oklahoma;
17
18 2. Is a member of a criminal street gang as such term is
18
19 defined in subsection F of Section 856 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma
19
20 Statutes; and
20
21 3. Has been convicted of a gang-related offense enumerated in
21
22 paragraphs one (1) through sixteen (16) of subsection F of Section
22
23 856 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes,

1 shall be deemed to have committed an act of terrorism as such term

2 is defined in Section 1268.1 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

3 Any and all property, including real estate and personal property,
3
4 conveyances, including aircraft, vehicles or vessels, monies, coins
4
5 and currency, or other instrumentality used or intended to be used,
5
6 in any manner or part, by said person shall be subject to forfeiture
6
7 as provided in Section 1738 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

8 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
