7 An Act relating to public finance; restricting use of
7 state revenues for benefit of persons present in
8 state or United States illegally; restricting use of
8 state revenues by political subdivisions or other
9 entities; providing for codification; providing an
9 effective date; and declaring an emergency.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
13
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2501 of Title 62, unless there
14
15 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

16 A. No state revenues, whether derived from taxes, fees,
16
17 assessments or any other source or means shall be used to provide
17
18 benefits of any kind to a person who is not authorized pursuant to
18
19 federal immigration law to be present in a state or in the United
19
20 States.

21 B. The provisions of this section and the restrictions on the
21
22 use of state revenues shall also be applicable to a minor born in
22
23 any state of the United States if either the mother or the father of
23

 1 the minor was not lawfully authorized to be present in a state or in

2 the United States at the time the child was born.

3 C. The provisions of this section and the restrictions on the
3
4 use of state revenues shall also be applicable to the use of state
4
5 revenues by any political subdivision of the state or by any other
5
6 legal entity that provides state funds, state funded assistance,
6
7 state funded support or state funded sanctuary status to a person or
7
8 persons not lawfully present in the state or not lawfully present in
8
9 the United States pursuant to the provisions of federal immigration
9
10 law.

11 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.
11
12 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
12
13 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
13
14 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
14
15 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
