7 An Act relating to the Oklahoma Health Care
7 Authority; setting policy; creating budget
8 requirements; specifying methods; providing for
8 codification; and providing an effective date.

12 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

13 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
13
14 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1011.16 of Title 56, unless
14
15 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

16 A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority in its annual budget
16
17 request filed with the Office of Management and Enterprise Services
17
18 shall include a line item reflecting the new state and federal
18
19 funding necessary to meet the additional costs associated with
19
20 reimbursing nursing facilities and intermediate care facilities for
20
21 individuals with intellectual disabilities at the most recent
21
22 audited cost.

23 B. Audited cost shall be calculated by using the latest cost
23
24 report submitted to the Oklahoma Health Care Authority.

2 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
