6 AS INTRODUCED
7 An Act relating to the Oklahoma Historical Society;
making an appropriation; stating purpose; providing
8 an effective date; and declaring an emergency.

11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
12 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma
13 Historical Society from any monies not otherwise appropriated from
14 the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
15 ending June 30, 2025, the sum of One Million Five Hundred Thousand
16 Dollars ($1,500,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to be
17 deposited in the Oklahoma Civil Rights Trail Revolving Fund created
18 pursuant to Section 503 of Title 53 of the Oklahoma Statutes to
19 administer the Oklahoma Civil Rights Trail Grant Program created
20 pursuant to Section 502 of Title 53 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
21 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.
22 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
23 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

1 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
2 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
