7 An Act relating to motor vehicles; requiring permit
for the movement of certain farm equipment on certain
8 roads and highways; requiring certain farm equipment
comply with existing law; requiring the Department of
9 Transportation issue certain special permit; setting
fee for special permit; providing for codification;
10 and providing an effective date.

14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
15 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
16 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 14-127 of Title 47, unless there
17 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
18 A. Provided an operator has obtained an annual permit from the
19 Department of Public Safety, as provided by subsection B of this
20 section, farm equipment including, but not limited to, farm tractors
21 and other implements of husbandry, as defined in Sections 1-118 and
22 1-125 of this title, that are used solely for commercial non-
23 agricultural purposes, may be operated on any road or highway of
24 this state, except those highways which are part of the National

1 System of Interstate and Defense Highways. Operation of such farm
2 equipment shall be subject to all existing height and weight
3 restrictions and equipment requirements provided by law.
4 B. The Department of Transportation shall, upon proper
5 application, issue a special annual permit to any person allowing
6 the movement of vehicles, described in subsection A of this section.
7 The fee for the annual permit shall be Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00)
8 per year, per vehicle.
9 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
