9 An Act relating to elections; amending 26 O.S. 2021,
Section 4-120.1, which relates to cancelation of
10 voter registration; providing time limit for
resubmission of canceled registration; and providing
11 an effective date.

14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
15 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 26 O.S. 2021, Section 4-120.1, is
16 amended to read as follows:
17 Section 4-120.1 A. A registered voter may have his or her name
18 removed from the voter registration database by executing a written
19 notice for same to the Secretary of the State Election Board or any
20 county election board. Such written notice shall be personally
21 signed by the voter and either shall be notarized or shall be
22 witnessed by two persons whose names and addresses shall be included
23 on the notice.

1 B. Any voter who voluntarily cancels his or her voter
2 registration as provided in this section shall be eligible to submit
3 a new voter registration application in the same county when sixty
4 (60) or more calendar days have passed since the submission of the
5 request for cancellation.
6 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
