7 An Act relating to the Oklahoma Broadband Expansion
7 Act; amending Section 7, Chapter 229, O.S.L. 2022 (74
8 O.S. Supp. 2022, Section 9206), which relates to
8 provider information; providing for ineligibility of
9 certain providers and public entities to receive
9 assistance from the Oklahoma Broadband Office under
10 certain conditions; and providing an effective date.

13 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

14 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY Section 7, Chapter 229, O.S.L.
14
15 2022 (74 O.S. Supp. 2022, Section 9206), is amended to read as
15
16 follows:
16
17 Section 9206. A. State agencies, counties, cities, towns,
17
18 school districts, career technology districts, institutions of
18
19 higher education, public trusts, other entities or instrumentalities
19
20 of local government, and Internet service providers shall, at the
20
21 request of the Oklahoma Broadband Office, provide information to the
21
22 Office regarding any matters as specified in this act relevant to
22
23 the Office’s duties.

 1 B. The Office shall maintain confidentiality as required by law
1
2 for all information provided under the provisions of this section.
2
3 C. Failure to timely submit any lawful information requested by
3
4 the Office shall result in an Internet service provider or public
4
5 entity being ineligible to receive any grant or other assistance
5
6 from the Office for a period of one (1) year.
6
7 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
